PHYSIQ is an advanced body treatment technology created by DEKA, a renowned Italy-based laser manufacturer. It’s the first and only device with the combination of laser energy and electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to burn fat and stimulate muscle movements. The procedure is fast with minimal downtime and promises optimal results such as a slimmer and more toned appearance. The PHYSIQ procedure is commonly done in the abdomen, legs, arms, buttocks, hips, back, and flanks (love handles).
How Does PhysiQ Work?
The PHYSIQ treatment delivers heat and energy to the stubborn areas of your body noninvasively. It has no downtime and is recommended for all skin types.
Our aestheticians will assess the target area, prepare the equipment, and adjust the device’s settings accordingly. We’ll apply the applicators to the skin with a gel pad and an elastic band to clasp them.
If you like working out, you can think of the PHYSIQ treatment as a cardio activity mixed in with weight training. It does both isotonic and isometric muscle contractions.
The device has 850 nm diode laser energy components to destroy fat cells. The muscle stimulation feature, on the other hand, targets body tissue and muscles to flex and tone desired areas.
PHYSIQ releases energy below the surface of the skin to reach those areas that are hard to reach. The laser energy can travel deeper on the skin, without getting absorbed by water.

What should I expect before, during, and after PHYSIQ Treatment?

The aesthetician will provide you with all the necessary post-treatment care instructions.
How long is a single treatment?
A single PHYSIQ procedure with four applicators takes up to 30 minutes. Treatment is usually faster for smaller areas.
What do patients feel during PHYSIQ treatment?
Due to the warmth of the applicator, our patients feel warm yet comfortable. PHYSIQ’s energy delivery and unique patient control feature promise optimal comfort. Its Superluminescent Diode Matrix (SDM) technology features simultaneous contact cooling.
It raises the skin’s surface temperature minimally to achieve the desired result. The skin’s tissue will maintain its therapeutic temperature and eliminate any unsafe spikes.
What is the aftercare post-treatment?
After the procedure, our aesthetician will provide you with detailed post-treatment care instructions. We recommend that you massage the treated area with the PHYSIQ body lotion – twice daily, between treatments.
Normally, the treated area may feel warm a few hours post-treatment. Due to muscle stimulation, most of our patients feel a great pump after undergoing the PHYSIQ procedure.
When will results be noticed?
You may notice immediate results after your first session but as a general rule, PHYSIQ has to be administered in a series of 5 treatments per area, once every 2 weeks.
Are multiple areas allowed in a single session?
Yes, a maximum of three areas may be treated in a single PHYSIQ session. It has up to four applicators that can be used in sets of two in different areas.
